Matt has FINALLY graduated!!! I was so happy, and proud, and all that a wife could be, thinking of how he has struggled through school, but never gave up! During commencement, Elder Richard G. Scott came and spoke. I felt like it was really a talk for us. The music was even what I felt we have been learning personally recently. They sang consider the Lillies of the field, and then the Hallelujah chorus, which I felt like singing myself after all this time. Then during his convocation, Elder Scott and Pres. Clark came and spoke at ours! Again the talks were fabulous, and it was very emotional to me to see him up there, and his name on the program. I felt like shouting for him and jumping up and down, but I contained myself to only a few tears. Elder Scott gave him his fake diploma and Pres. Clark gave him his pin. It was such a fabulous experience! After the ceremony, we all got to go up and shake Elder Scott's hand. Becca was so excited, not to meet an apostle, but to show someone her picture (which by the way, both the pres, and Elder Scott thought was very pretty)! As we were walking away, Sis. Clark tugged on my shirt and told me congratulations too! I felt very appreciated. I couldn't have been more proud, than if it was myself up there!
