Day #2- This morning I bribed my children with positive encouragement. "Elena is being a good listener! Who else is being a good listener? I wonder if the good listener's will get a prize today." So Tennis lesson morning turned out to be surprisingly pleasant, instead of incessant murmurs from under all the bedding about waking up just to take Joseph to tennis again. Usually by the time I drag everyone to the park, nobody wants to play, but they just sit on the play equipment. Which I find quite odd because they love playing there at any other time than the one specified. But today they actually enjoyed it and didn't want to leave. (Too bad it's the last day of classes eh?) After tennis we took a journey to the dollar store to treat the good listener's with a prize of spinners, cars, and amazing trick barbie dolls with removable limbs! After doing the everyday things today, we made cookies, played with friends, Daddy took the kids to Seven Peaks, while mommy donated blood. There was my day in a small nutshell. After writing all of this, I realize that maybe I should be should be less informative, and leave the details to my journal. Maybe next time, I will find a funny story to relay, or even more exciting...I could make one up, THAT ought to be good! Well sorry- but this time I'm not re-doing it!
