Kid-isms

Here are a couple kid-ism's recently that I thought you might enjoy...

*Kimball was playing with his food (which I cooked and happened to be quite tasty-if I do say so myself). I say "Kimball, eat your food". He looks at me, sighs gently, cocks his little head to one side and says in a such a sweet yet hesitant-like voice, "My tummy is telling me, 'you better not eat that!'"

*My Mother-in-law came to visit and took us out to eat at Cracker Barrel. After dinner we were sitting casually on their porch in their rocking chairs, while Matt played checkers with one of the kids. Multiple people came up to the restaurant and then left. I turned to my mom-in-law and said "I hope we're not scaring away business". Rebecca then turned to me and said in such a child-like, matter of fact way, "Mom, since people think I'm so cute 'cause of my Red hair, I'm probably MAKING them business!"

Our camera is playing hide-and-seek again, so if you are wondering if we have suddenly grown beards and morphed into a Gargoyle since I last blogged, you may be right! I just looked at our ward directory picture and I thought I somewhat resembled one. Hopefully more will come soon...with pictures! (Audience-Oooh!)
