We went to a Firehouse open house thingy, where the firemen in our area show us all the stuff and do almost a carnival in our area. They also had Life Flight come. Well the kids and I were there and sat on the curb by the parking lot. We were so excited and I started snapping pictures of it landing in the road not far in front of us in the road. The kids were eating scones and Kimball was playing with his balloon. As the helicopter came closer the wind started blowing SOOO hard that the scones blew off the plates and the balloon popped. Then it got even worse and the gravel was blowing up from the road. Joseph and Elena came running to hide behind me, and Becca was in between my legs. Kimball was the only one staying where he was....until...he was blown backwards off of the curb!! For reals. Afterwards everyone wanted to go home and Kimball was the only one that wanted to go up close to see the helicopter up close. It took a lot of coercing, but they finally got the nerve to get close to "the scary thing".
