Ok so I am way behind! For Halloween we dressed up as The Wizard of Oz. The kids had a blast actually doing it together, and the week after already informed me that they want us all to dress up like the Backyardigans next year. Good luck with that!

We tried to grow our own pumpkins at Matt's mom's house this year. We got quite a few small ones, but we had to quit watering them and weeding, when one day as I was weeding by myself these two guys next door started yelling at each other. I thought, "ok what do I do if they start to fight?" Well I grabbed the phone, and turned on the hose. Not more than 1 minute after doing this they started throwing punches. I grabbed the phone to call, but the operator said I needed to dial a 1 before dialing 911, so I did what any mom would do. I started to squirt them with the hose and told them to knock it off. The one looked over at me while the other grabbed a gun. What excitement huh! So to make a long story short Matt wouldn't let me go back over there alone, and time with him weeding was few and far between. We were blessed to get as much as we did anyway!
