I just came back from volunteering in Joseph's 1st grade class. I love to watch those kids, they are fascinating! There was one little girl that walked up to this boy and a little conversation ignited. "blah blah" (something I missed was said) then the girl turns to him with her head cocked to one side and a HUGE smile on her face, all the while batting her eyelashes. "Oh..you little cutie" she says as she pinches one of his cheeks. He then turns to face me. "She loves me" He says nonchalantly. Where do they learn this stuff? Ok so I can't really say much because I have the son that wouldn't stop kissing the girls, even when I talked to him about it, and all he could say to me was..."But I like to!" He is also the one that entered a picture in the reflections contest about "what is beauty" and he drew a picture of his teacher because "she is so beautiful!". He is so loving and affectionate, I think when he turns 16, I am going to have to enroll him in an all boys school, just to keep him to myself for a little while longer, and not have to fight for his attention from other females. He is the boy, that on more than one occasion, I have woken up and found him sleeping at the foot of my bed with lotion still in his hands, from rubbing my feet. I love that kid!

What a fun story. If I remember right he's supposed to marry Erika, right? :D
ReplyDeleteIt was fun to read up on your family a bit. The kids have grown so much! I can't believe how big Kimball is!! He wasn't even a year old when we last saw you.
Congrats on graduation, both for you and Matt! Happy Anniversary!
